ATL Jamaica first opened its doors as an Air Conditioning Service company at Cross Roads, Kingston in 1968. The sale and maintenance of Air Conditioners were fairly new to the island as they had just recently been introduced.
Their products have long since surpassed that. Now they sell everyday home appliances and commercial and industrial equipment to serve the largest industries in Jamaica from Agriculture to Tourism.

ATL Jamaica is known for making its company vehicles into advertisement tools. Whenever you spot an ATL vehicle, you will see the prominent ATL Unbeatable logo and the company colours of red, white and blue wrapped all over the vehicle.
This was started by its founder Gordon Butch Stewart who had an ATL Logo on the door of his luxury car at the start of the company. From then on, all his technicians were known for the vehicles that were painted with the name of the brands of Air Conditioners that the company sold. At first, not many people understood why he would paint the sign on such a prized possession. However, business-minded persons have now all caught the trend and use their company (or personal vehicles) as billboards for their company.
Vehicle Brands offered by ATL Group
In 1997, the ATL Motors subdivision was added. ATL became the sole distributor of new Honda vehicles in Jamaica. They remained the only vehicle brand offered by the group until 2010 when German brands Audi and & Volkswagen joined the ATL Jamaica Family.
In 2016, ATL Autobahn was named Regional Motor Dealers of BMW and MINI brand vehicles in Jamaica and 8 other Caribbean countries, namely, Aruba, The Bahamas, Barbados, Curacao, the Cayman Islands, St. Lucia, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago. In 2016, luxury brand Porsche joined the ATL Jamaica family. By 2018 Kia Motors rounded out the offerings at ATL group under the ATL Tiger Motors subdivision.
This company has not slowed down since 2010. Every few years they add a new arm to fill emerging needs for vehicle and equipment solutions among the Jamaican populace.
ATL Automotive Racing Team
In 2011, the ATL Group earned the title of Unbeatable when their ATL Automotive Racing Team joined forces with Doug โHollywoodโ Gore, a celebrated Jamaica race car driver. Together with Doug in an Audi DTM race car, the team was able to not only beat the race record at Dover Raceway, the most popular racing track in Jamaica, but they also recorded the fastest lap time ever at the International Race of Champions in Guyana.
The companyโs showrooms in Kingston and Montego Bay are known locally for their unrivalled sophistication. Their virtual 360-degree showroom, will have you browsing your favourite brands and styles right from the comfort of your home, with the features of the car displayed right on the screen.
The company also partnered with international car rental service providers Enterprise Holdings to provide car rental services to Jamaica from locations operating out of Kingston and Montego Bay.
ATL Bodyworks
Purchasing a vehicle from ATL means access to highly trained mechanics for as long as you have a vehicle with them Also, with the launch of the ATL Bodyworks body shop in Bogue, Montego Bay, St. James, they can now provide services for:
The company is now headed by Adam Stewart after the unfortunate passing of his father in January of 2021. The beautiful thing is that at ATL you can purchase an appliance as small as a household iron or go as large as a commercial kitchen or drive off in your favourite car or SUV.
I'm proud that they continue to invest in Jamaica and its people just as much as Jamaicans invest in their company. The company started with 50 employees at their Cross Roads location and now serves Jamaica from locations in three parishes with over 500 employees.
