Contest Entry #023 - Jamaican Catch Of The Day
I have been to Jamaica many times and every trip is so different.
On my past trip to Jamaica in April of 2012 I wanted to see some of the South Coast as I haven't traveled through there as I had in other parts of Jamaica.
My girlfriend/traveling companion as well as some clients I had booked to Jamaica rented a van, and off we went with cold beers and drinks packed in the back.
We drove off from Negril to Treasure Beach, our destination, YS Falls and Pelican Bar.
We had a great time at both locations, enjoying how different the "inside" of Jamaica is as opposed to the coastal areas.
On our way back to Negril along the Bluefield's Bay coast road, we saw the men were coming in from the sea with their fresh catch of the day.
Like a child in the backseat of the car of a family road trip, I screamed, "Stop the van, I wanna see!"
The two men saw that I was taking their picture so he held it up proudly to show me his fresh catch of the day.
I would have loved to stay for dinner but off again back to Negril heading towards Rick's
Cafe to watch the sunset and celebrate our great day adventure through the South Coast of Jamaica.
Return to Jamaican Photo Contest #4.
