This new and exciting eatery and lounge offers the perfect setting for a having a great time.
I had the honour of attending their official launch and has already developed a special liking for the place!
I mentioned that it is on the south coast but more specifically, it is situated perfectly between West (Negril area) and Southcoast (St. Bess, Treasure Beach area) in Culloden, Whitehouse Westmoreland.
If you are arriving from the west side of the island, after passing Auchindown crossing, take the last right turn just before the Culloden (H.E.A.R.T) training center and continue towards the sea.
It is tucked away in a secluded area to your right!
And it is no more than about 3 minutes drive from the elegant Sandals Whitehouse resort; yes, also on the seaside!
And for those who might be inclined, there is also a small beach area to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean sea.
I had the pleasure of meeting Horatio Anderson, partner and manager, and quizzed her about this, my favourite subject - the food :-)
His response, "We serve the best lobster, fish and shrimp; and we also have the Jamaican favorites- including, Jerk Chicken and Oxtail".
He replied, "Moderate, and there is no tourist price, everyone (local or tourist) pays the same price".
He added that every meal will be served in aesthetically designed crockery!
For me, its the free-spirited, open, yet secluded, atmosphere that impressed me most about the venue.
And although I'll never claim to be a swimmer, I love the beautiful sights and soothing sounds of the picturesque Caribbean sea.
And this place, decorated by lush tropical fruits (including mangoes, sweet sop, noni and sea grapes), creates the perfect environment for your total relaxation.
And yes an excellent backdrop for your weddings, conferences, reunions and other special functions.
Blue Waters is open from Thursday to Sunday of each week; from 12pm to 12 midnight!

With a prime location, tranquil atmosphere and ideal facilities, the
operators are hoping to open up the venue to various complimentary-type
functions.
These include weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and other special functions.
And by the way, there is a convenient dock for those who prefer to arrive by the sea!

Blue Waters Restaurant & Lounge in White house Jamaica is a partnership with Horace Anderson, Al Maxwell and Dave Meisner.
(L-R) Maura Watson, June Anderson, Horace Anderson, Debra Reuben and David Meisner.
It all started when Horace ‘Andy’ Anderson decided his New Year’s resolution was “not to defer my dreams.”
His dream was to once again own and operate a restaurant and lounge. After establishing a location, he then sought partners.
Al Maxwell came to Whitehouse to purchase property, stayed to build out the infrastructure in the Paradiso Subdivision. His thoroughness, and ability to deliver quality infrastructure on time convinced Andy he would make a good partner.
Dave Meisner is a Dentist from Colorado. He has visited Jamaica for years, and recently decided to donate some of his skills to Jamaica. His obvious concern for the welfare of our island people and willingness to give of himself made him the 4th partner, and
brought with him his wife, Debra Reuben.
Together, having formed an alliance across national boundaries, they provide you a venue at once stimulating and delectable cuisine; yet at the same time, the best ‘cool out’ spot on Jamaica's South Coast.
