RESPONSE: by WellesleyHey Sir Dave,
I appreciate you reaching out to me with your questions about planning your trip to Jamaica. It's fantastic that you're considering JA for your vacation and so I'm elated to happy to help you out!
In my opinion, both Couples Negril and Couples Swept Away are lovely resorts, and they cater to adults seeking a romantic and relaxed atmosphere. They offer excellent beachfront locations, beautiful pools, and a laid-back vibe.
However, regarding topless sunbathing and clothing-optional beaches, it's important to note that Jamaica is generally quite open-minded, but it's always a good idea to check with each resort policies to ensure they meet your preferences.
Regarding a more vibrant nightlife experience, for sure the resorts in
Negril,
Montego Bay, and
Ocho Rios are my picks.
Outside of the resorts, Kingston does offer an awesome local vibe too, in addition to Montego Bay and Negril, and even Ochi albeit with fewer options. The choice ultimately depends on your personal preferences.
As for alternative resort recommendations, you might want to consider checking out the Hedonism II resort in Negril. It's known for its adult-only, clothing-optional atmosphere, and lively nightlife.
However, please keep in mind that it has a unique vibe that might not suit everyone's tastes, so be sure to do some research and read reviews to see if it aligns with what you're looking for.
Lastly, may I also suggest you consider getting my downloadable ebook, '
Jamaica on a Budget?' It's packed with tips and insights on how to make the most of your Jamaican experience while being budget-conscious. Whether you decide on one of the Couples resorts or another option, the book can help you get the most value out of your trip.
So that's my take, but feel free to ask if you have any more questions or need further assistance in planning your trip here.
Regards,
WG
