Villas in Ocho Rios are a good option when travelling with families or large groups. It also gives an added layer of privacy as in most cases your group will be the only one at the villa at any given time.

Villas in Ocho Rios offer different amenities to suit the different requirements guests will have for their vacation. Here are some villas and their offerings:

1. Buttonwood Reef and Seabiscuit Cottage - Hermosa Lane, Ocho Rios

Renting the Buttonwood Reef and Seabiscuit Cottage together will give you access to a total of 9 bedrooms that sleep up to 18 guests. Both villas can be rented separately and you would have 6 bedrooms at the Buttonwood and 3 bedrooms at the Seabiscuit Cottage. There is a minimum 5-night stay and a 7-night requirement for public holidays including Easter. The check-in and check-out times are 3 PM and 11 AM respectively.

The newly built villa by the sea has modern amenities to make your trip filled with relaxation and convenience. This includes:

  • 9½ Bathrooms
  • Infinity edge pool
  • 14 person hot tub
  • Beach access
  • Outdoor shower
  • Outdoor dining area
  • Outdoor grill and deck
  • Tennis Court
  • Pickleball
  • Rackets and Ball supplied for court games

The villa is fully staffed with a chef, butler, housekeeper, laundress and gardener.

Outside guests and hospitality events such as weddings will not be accommodated at the villa.

2. Hidden Bay Bay The Sea - A1 Main St, Runaway Bay

This cliffside villa on the edge of the Caribbean Sea has six bedrooms and sleeps 12 persons. The main house has four bedrooms and the cottage has 6 as well as a Jacuzzi. 

The villa comes fully staffed with 2 chefs, 2 butlers, 2 housekeepers, 2 laundresses and 2 gardeners. The villa is family-friendly and guests with children will have access to a crib, high chair, beach toys and a Pack & Play. The villa is wheelchair accessible to properly accommodate disabled guests. Other amenities include:

  • Kayaks
  • Snorkel gear
  • 4 Boogies boards
  • Pool
  • AC Unit
  • Pool with deck

As you know, vacationing at villas is not all-inclusive in most cases and as such you will be responsible for footing the bills for groceries. Groceries can be ordered ahead of your arrival from a local grocer or you can complete the shop on your own when you arrive if you wish. Events, including weddings, are not allowed.

3. Scotch On The Rocks - Ocho Rios, St. Ann

This 5 bedroom villa sleeps 10 and comes fully staffed with a chef, butler, housekeeper and gardener. Guests with small children will have access to a high chair and crib. The house sleeps 10 but up to 12 persons are allowed to stay at the villa. An additional daily fee will be charged for the two extra persons.

The villa will provide for your initial needs which will be prepared for your arrival. You can then complete your grocery shopping as well as cover the expenses that the initial needs cost.

Sunday BBQs and Boat tours are arranged upon request.

  • Safes

Check-in and check-out times are 3 PM and 11 AM respectively.

4. Promiseas - Ocho Rios

Promiseas Villa is perfect for two families vacationing together. With two 4 bedroom contemporary beachfront villas, both groups can enjoy their time together as a large group but still have more intimate moments with just their families.

The villas combined can accommodate up to 16 persons. Promiseas comes fully staffed with butlers, chefs, housekeepers, personal laundresses and gardeners.

Amenities include:

  • 8 bathrooms and 2 powder rooms
  • 2 Infinity edge pools
  • A 10 person hot tub
  • Ocean access
  • Outdoor dining
  • Beach BBQ area
  • Gym
  • Spa
  • Kayaks (Single and Double)
  • Bird Watching deck
  • Clay tennis court (lit for night play)
  • AC Units
  • Poolside shower
  • Games Room

You can enjoy nature right from the comfort of the living room through the glass atrium in the centre of the room that has a tree growing from it and the spectacular views of the sea. For your delight, the hot tub is located in an underground cave with its own bar and massage deck.

5. Malatai On The Beach - Ocho Rios

This newly renovated villa is one of the larger villas in Ocho Rios. It has 8 bedrooms, sleeps 16 and has a minimum of 5 nights. It is completely wheelchair accessible with ramps for all areas. It is also family-friendly and has a freeform pool with a shallow end perfect for small children to play while supervised, as well as a crib and high chair, to accommodate babies.

  • Poolside hot tub
  • Tennis court
  • Basketball hoop
  • Gym
  • BBQ area
  • Outdoor kitchen
  • Generators
  • A Safe

6. GoldenEye Beach & Lagoon Villas - Race Course, Oracabessa

This villa has two types of accommodations, 1 bedroom and two-bedroom villas.

2 Bedroom Villas

2 storey living quarters with a bathroom and bedroom on each floor. On the ground floor, there is also a kitchen, a private garden shower area and a living room area with a queen-sized day bed.

This day bed can also double as a sleeping area for two children under the age of 10. This villa accommodates 4 adults and 2 children.

1 Bedroom Villas

1 story villa with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area and a private garden shower area. One-bedroom villas can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children under the age of ten. There is a minimum 3-night requirement and 7 nights during public holidays. There are no personal chefs.

However, daily full breakfast is included in the price for the villa and you do have the option to pay for a meal plan as well.

  • Housekeeping and laundry
  • Turndown services
  • Ceiling fans and AC Units
  • Non Motorised water sports
  • Tennis court
  • Golf
  • Spa
  • Safe
  • Pool and Sea access

Snorkel gear and kayaks are provided. The villa is available for weddings. Spa treatments booked within 24 hours of arrival will include an additional 15 minutes compliments of the villa. The check-in and check-out times at this villa are 3 PM and 11 PM respectively.
