Hi There: Just wanted to shout out to everyone reading this, that i just booked my flights and booked a little condo in Negril, not a little "cottage in Negril" like the song goes, but exciting just the same :-)
We used to stay at Point Village Resort when it was an all-inclusive. Been there 6 times now.
Since my last visit 3 years ago, it has changed from an all inclusive to a private village where you can purchase or rent condos by the sea.
I am actually looking forward to a more laid back holiday in Negril. We will go to the market and the grocery store and purchase our own food and drink....*s*...including some ice cold Red Stripe beer and of course yummy Rum.
Road trip to Bob Marleys final resting place in the hills, a must. A night out at the Jungle will be in order, as well as our favourite eating establishments such as Juicy J's and Rock House.
Head out for a cruise on our friend Ls's boat for sunset cruise to Ricks Cafe...ya mon!
it will be a totally different experience from the ones i am used to, but my family and i are up for the challenge.
All you need is sunshine, Reggae music, some good friends from Jamaica, and every little t'ings gonna be alright......!!!
Jah Bless us,
Ann Treacy and Family
