Good day. On April 21, 1988, my aunt gave birth to a baby girl at Mandeville hospital in Manchester. My aunt and uncle were teenagers at the time and after their daughter was born, they heard her cry but never got to see her, as the baby was taken from the room immediately after birth.
Once the nurses/doctor returned to the room, they told my aunt and uncle that their daughter had died but did not show them the child's body to confirm this.
Now, I've heard that there was a time when babies were routinely being stolen from parents at this particular hospital but I don't know how true that is.
I am desparately trying to find this child who would now be 30 years old. My aunt has spent years trying to get information but to no avail.
The child's biological parents last names at the time were Williams and Reid respectively. My aunt and uncle are still together and are now married and living in Canada.
If anyone has any information which they feel could be of some assistance, please, please, please share it with me.
I have attached two pictures of my other cousins, who are the siblings of the cousin I am searching for.
