Rose Hall Roast Festival Set For Labour Day
(Western Mirror) It promises to be a wholesome fairly experience come tomorrow, Labour Day, Thursday, May 23 at the third annual Margaritaville Rose Hall Roast Festival at the Lilliput Playing Field (next to Iberostar Hotel) in Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica.
The event, being promoted by Twisted Entertainment will not only provide mouth-watering food, but for the first time, will feature live performances by a slew of artistes from the dancehall and reggae pantheon.
The lineup will include artiste such as Gyptian, Munga Honourable, Chi-Ching-Ching, Mixing Lab, Rollie Fresh, Cko Chin, Unruly, TK-K9-SOP, Showtyme So Easy, and and host of others.
Black Heat and Tension Invasion bands from Mobay Boys' Club will also be performing while Hard Drive will act as backing band.
Music will be juggled by Crazy Neil, DJ Reaf and Kenny Rich, Crazy Chris, DJ Shem, Dwaku Vybes, DJ Jubba among others.
Lieutenant Elmo will host the event which kicks off at midday. Showtime is at 6 o'clock in the afternoon.
"After you labor, just come relax with your family", said Organizer Fitzroy Minott.
Tickets are available at Margaritaville Mobay, Fontana Pharmacy, Watts New, Texaco Fairview, Chris and Clean Car Care and Father Bull's Bar and Grill, which is one of the sponsors.
