Sharkie’s

Sharkie’s is one of the more known restaurants in Ocho Rios and for a good reason. The seaside restaurant has some of the best seafood appetisers, soups, salads, wraps and main course dishes.

While seafood is the main focus, don’t worry if you are the friend who would prefer chicken or steak, they have that prepared as well. And the kids aren’t left out either with a special kids menu.

You can pair your meal with your choice of wine, cocktail or mocktail and don’t forget to order a decadent slice of cake for dessert. You won’t have to disconnect from the world while you are there as you can always utilise the complimentary Wi-Fi.

While you don’t need to make a reservation, it is advised if you have a large group or are celebrating a special occasion, just to be sure. You can use either the reservation phone number to contact them or fill out the form on the Sharkie’s Seafood website.

Seaside Dutchie

If you are familiar with Jamaican food, then you know the dutch pot is an integral part of our meals.

At Seaside Dutchie each meal is served in a miniature dutch pot which only adds to the experience that the rustic and inviting seaside restaurant provides. If your meal is done to order, you’ll have a few minutes at the Dutchie Bar to find a new favourite drink.

If the food isn’t the only thing that grabs your attention and you would love the beautiful seaside restaurant as the backdrop of your next special event, then Seaside Dutchie can make that happen as well.

Reservations can be made just in case you have a large group.

Christopher’s At Hermosa Cove

It isn’t often that the restaurant or hotel at a villa becomes so popular that it is well-known separate and apart from the villa itself. The restaurant will kindly consider any dietary restrictions and prepare your meal with substitutions and omissions where necessary.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is great but the cocktail menu and impressive wine selection must also be talked about.

The menu consists of a lot more than just seafood as well. You can have smoked marlin, braised oxtail, a pizza and what seems like everything in between. The catch of the day is a steal for the avid fish lover.

Resort guests are allowed to stop anytime but others will only be allowed for a paying person's benefit. Christopher’s hours are 7:30 am to 8 pm on weekdays and 9 pm on weekends.

Angler’s

Angler’s Seafood and Bar specialises in Seafood and other Jamaican favourites. You can get signature seafood dishes paired with Appleton estate cocktails or you can choose your own drink.

From the rustic, wooden elements to the stellar customer service Angler’s isn’t lacking in any department we could think of.

Pleasure Cove Beach Bar

The family-owned restaurant is a small gem that you will find in Ocho Rios that serves authentic Jamaican food and entertainment. Pairing the beach with delicious seafood is an unbeatable combination and that is exactly what you will get at Pleasure Cove Beach Bar. Curried lobster and escovitch fish are a hit at the restaurant. Maybe you could try these or find your own new fave from the menu.

Only food bought at Pleasure Cove Restaurant is allowed on the beach.

Murray’s Fish and Jerk

Murray’s specialises in two things; fish and jerk. While these two items take up a huge chunk of the menu, Murray’s has included the meals you get with as authentic a flavour as possible.
