Negril Cheap Hotels

So there I was, looking for the 'perfect' place to spend some quality time in beautiful Negril.

I mentioned a popular hotel name, but my cousin who was with me, cautioned me that I’m spending too much money to get good comfort and style; there are much cheaper hotels.

Though cheap hotel and Negril don’t sound like they belong in the same sentence, I got very interested. 

After his 'lecture' I was sold, but moreso I was able to now look at, not just one or two but a number of great budget-friendly small hotels in Negril.

The truth is that, off the bat, our first impulse may be to think an all inclusive /name brand hotel. And this might be for various reasons; convenience, length of stay, number of persons, if children or elderly persons are going to be there, etc.

But many of these all inclusive big hotels have some ridiculous rates which are usually well above, or on the higher end of your budget from the get go.

So, as my cuz taught me, thinking outside the box in this case may get you further with your plans. 

I've done my due diligence and came up with these three (3 +1) that, in my opinion, offers great value but also at a great price.

  1. Coral Seas Garden Hotel

    Coral Seas Garden hotel is located on Normal Manley Blvd, few miles away from the famous Negril Lighthouse and walking distance from the party spots.

    You have the option of going to the beach or just to relax by the pool side. It features a cheerful décor, cable TV, comfy sitting areas, well-kept rooms, restaurants and bar.

    And you can also make arrangements for Jet Ski or snorkeling at additional cost..

  2. Roots Bamboo Beach Resort

    3. At Roots Bamboo you can find a bar, restaurants, and great massage services. The rooms are nicely spaced and includes all the basic amenities, eg. fans, air conditioning units, mini fridges and a terrace overlooking the ocean. 

  3. The Westender Inn and Villa La Cage

    On the Cliff side you have many small hotels two of which are The Westender Inn and Villa La Cage.

    Westender is the furthest of the two and is close to Orange Hill which is a famous spot to tourist and locals alike. Both share a more quite, small, secluded yet relaxing atmosphere, away from the hyperactive life style of the beach side hotels.

    Prices are very, very affordable, meals are great, staff is wonderful and the rooms are breathtaking and accommodating.

    You can reserve tours with the hotels to venture off in or out of town and arrange shuttle service which is a free amenity offered by Villa La Cage.

Now you have no reason to delay that well needed vacation anymore, come on over and jam with us in Negril, the capital of casual.
