One of my favourite places is the beach so it isn’t surprising that it is one of the most looked forward to parts of a vacation. A hotel with a good beach is the icing on the cake because it means you won’t have to go to enjoy the sun, sand and sea that Jamaica is known for.

Since Negril is such a tourist hot spot, some of our favourite Negril beach hotels are both luxury and affordable options.
The 60-room hotel has a wide range of resort lodgings across 5 types of rooms and suites; Suites, Deluxe rooms, Superior, Standard and Bungalows. The rooms include a kitchen, Wi-Fi access, a safety box, a king-size bed, air conditioning, a ceiling fan and flat-screen cable television.
Dining
There isn’t a multitude of restaurant options on the property, but, there is one restaurant and bar open from 7 AM to 10:30 PM. Although there is only one restaurant on the property, they do have a good mix of local, regional and international cuisines for their guests to try. And, on Sundays, they are open for brunch.
But with its central location, you can always pop into the restaurants located in and around Negril.
Entertainment
Activities
You can either hang out by the pool or head to the beach. If you would love to include some watersports, you can check for their availability at Traveller’s Beach and if it isn’t offered there, they will help you to find somewhere that does.
White Sands is quite a fitting name for this budget-friendly option as it is located on the Seven Mile beach. This resort has two parts. A beachside and the garden side just across the road.
Guests on the garden side still have access to the beach restaurant on the main side of the resort, so even if you book the garden side of the hotel, you will still have access to the beach. The only difference is the beach view or oceanfront rooms are out of the question.
The forty-five-room hotel has 7 types of accommodation: the standard room garden side, garden side kitchenette, one bedroom apartment, junior suite, deluxe room, beachside superior, and standard room beachside.
Their single restaurant serves all three meals daily, starting with a universal breakfast and more traditional meals around dinner time. The meals are not included in the cost of your stay but don’t worry, it should cost between USD 9-30.
Airport transfers are not the responsibility of White Sands but they are willing to arrange the transportation on your behalf. It will come at an additional charge for you.
The seaside boutique hotel in the Seven Mile is one of the largest with 107 guest rooms
CocoLaPalm has a variety of rooms and suites including Deluxe, Superior, Junior Suites, Coco Suite, Honeymoon Suites and Beachfront Rooms.
Some general amenities in these rooms are:
Marley’s By the Sea is the only restaurant on the property and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You won’t be bored either. For entertainment, there is a live show on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Child rates at CocoLaPalm apply to children 0-11 years old.
Don't forget how close you are to the town though, still take a moment from the CocoLaPalm experience and go have fun on your own.
With a total of 59 rooms, this boutique hotel has Seaview, Seaview Deluxe, Junior Suites, Garden Views and Family Units. The largest rooms are the junior suites and family units which fit 3 or four people respectively.
Their sole restaurant Levendome draws inspiration from Jamaica, Italy and France to create the most exquisite dishes made from farm-to-table products. Food and drinks at Levendome are not included but they have different meal plans that you can consider paying the additional price for the meal plans.
It is farther away from the centre of the town, with a distance of just under 15 minutes but the main reason we are here, the beach, is on display for you.
