Contest Entry #020 - Negril, Jamaica - November 2011

It was my first time in Jamaica in Nov. 2011. I had planned the holiday eight months in advance.

Didn't have a clue what to expect. I rented a private condo right at the ocean in Negril, seven mile beach.

Every morning I would wake up to the wonderful view, the warm breeze going threw the condo. All kinds of boats where always passing by.

The morning I took the picture of the fisherman I went for a walk around the complex. I met a older Jamaican man that was working the grounds, he asked me if wanted a coconut.

Of course I said yes and gave him ten dollars for his kindness.

Went back to the condo, sat on the deck and watched the ocean. I was enjoying my coconut milk and this boat stopped right in front of the condo. What a beautiful sight; got my camera and took two pictures.

Next I noticed no one was in the boat. They were all diving for the day's catch for themselves or for the market. I don't know but it was interesting to see that's for sure.

Thinking of the picture I made sure we bought fish from local fisherman.

I am planning on coming back this year to meet more of the beautiful Jamaican people. I can't wait!!!!
