My name is Leonie Hussett, I remember Georgia Wade, Kenya McKenzie, Grace Sibley and a few more. We were all in Mr Stevens class together. I only attended Mico for 7th and 8th grade then I migrated to the US. My friends were Dionne Linton, Paulette Darby; Vaughn Denton whom I am in contact with and Roydell and Wendell the twins. I also was and still am friends with Sheryl Folkes who was a grade ahead. It’s so nice to see the name I was in class with. My email is Lhussett@gmail.com.

Honestly I left Jamaica at a young age, and forgot a few names. If you were attending Mico around the time of Mr. Pete. Or Vauxhall around that same time email me. I use to hang out with some Indian kid,and another from August town. My brothers name is Kirk. I grew up in August town.

Wow! I am here ironing my shirt for church and had a flashback to my younger days... Thought I would Google Ms. Wilmot and Mico and this came up first. Went there from 1979 to 1983.... Ms. Dixon was my grade one teacher... Ms. Paragh...Ms. Lawrence.... Ms. Downey.... Mr. Reid... So many others.... I am sure many might not be with us anymore but because of them I among many others can bear testimony to their contribution to our lives.....

Pass student of Mico Practising All Age school. Started there in 76 and left in 82. Teschers were Mrs. Carty , Mr. Bowen, Mrs. Downey, Mr. Morgan. Mrs. Wilmot was our principal. Those were very strict people. Big up to them all.

I would like to find Terine Mitchell who migrated to NY, Natalie Allen, Jackqueline Samuels, Kenya McKenzie, Tricia McCalla, Donnaree Robinson, Roger Pottinger, David Fennell, Oswald Murray, Stacy-Ann Segree, dwight wiggan, janet wiggan, sarah wittingham and many more. I attended Mico Practicing School during 1951 to 1956! Quite an accomplishment for a man who is only ...about...Cam I say 40?

Back then, Dinosaurs used to run up and down Slipe Road. I lived in Cross Roads. I remember when Hurricane Charlie(?) hit 1951? and virtually destroyed much of Kingston and cross Roads...We could not even GET to school for a while.

Mr. Shaw was headmaster then, with Mrs. bear as his Assistant. Jimmy Tucker was a notable student.

I would be happy to hear from anyone from that era.

If anyone knows any of the girls from Mico Practicing that I named I would really appreciate if the info could be passed along.

Some of the names like Deanna sound familiar, but it was so long ago it will take a little more to ring a bell.

I use to also be on the Net Ball Team there, also with Veronica, if anyone remember her and Tasha who ran track and Lorraine. Thanks in advance.
