by Roy Kelly
(London, U.K. )
I am looking for the burial place of my father so I can pay my respects to the man I only knew as a young child and also to try and find out if I have any relatives living in Jamaica.
He came to U.K. South London in the fifties and had a wife Gladys. He met my mother during this time Annie Kelly who lodged in one of his houses.
She gave birth to myself, Roy Kelly, and a daughter Jaqueline Kelly. When he left the U.K. he provided for us but lost touch after some time had passed.
I believe he was born in Westmoreland around 1914. I believe he came to U.K. aged 37 in 1951 aboard the Cunard Georgic.
I think his wife Gladys was born in 1911 and died in 2001 but am not sure.
I believe they lived in Lyssons, St James until their deaths?
I can remember meeting their daughter in South London as a child and there may have also been a son, Iโm not sure.
I would appreciate any information at all.
Many thanks
