Re: What's Your Dream Jamaican Christmas?
Christmas time for me is about spending time with loved ones, families and friends.
Its the time when everyone lime and just be themselves. Much time will be spent catching up with happenings in society and the family.
Being the host of this occasion is a special privilege. It takes a lot and requires a lot but at the end of it all I am fulfilled.
Of course cooking, eating, dancing and listening to music is involved. For me Christmas is not Christmas if sorrel and Christmas cake is not on the menu. As my guests walked through the door the first thing they ask for is cake and sorrel.
More pleasure is derived from knowing that everyone is filled and satisfied and of course hearing the good comments about the food.
There is nothing more important than family, friends and good food at this time of year.
