Merry Christmas 2019
Can you believe it, It's Christmas Eve my friend!
It's a bit unusual for us here as it rained all morning, up to about 10:00am, well so much for the changing weather systems and patterns today.
But anyway, I just wanted to send some warm Christmas Greetings your way.
We sometimes debate on the history of Christmas, but you know what, we have come to embrace it as a time of reflection, family, caring and sharing.
And so, I wish for you all that, and more!
I'd just add though that while we come to expect that feel good feeling, let's commit to make someone else's Christmas, especially those who are less fortunate than us, whether financially, health, emotionally, family etc, and they are everywhere.
And remember, it doesn't have to be money or gifts, but perhaps just a card or an unexpected phone call. Trust me, it will make their day and nothing in life is more gratifying than giving.
So I wish you a fantastic time! I certainly will be having a good time as tomorrow, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day I will be with family. I am oh so looking forward to that.
By the way, I have some sorrel brewing on the stove right now, got it in the market yesterday, I am looking forward to that too :-)
So anyways, cheers to you and yours at this special time, and all best for the new year!
Blessings!

Christmas Greetings by: Wayne Stewart
This will be our first Christmas in our new home, back home in Jamaica. We picked up our daughter from Mobay airport today and will greatly enjoy our quality time together for the holidays. Thank you so much for sharing so many great things our Jamaica has to offer. My family immigrated to the UK when I was 6 years old then to the US when I was 16 so I have a lot of traveling and learning about my Jamaica to do. You have been a great help in that endeavor. I look forward to many more issues to come in 2020. Blessing to you and your family Wellesley.

Blessings to you and your family, Wellesley by: John Blenkiron
At this time of year as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour it is a time when families gather and count their blessings. The greatest blessing of all is the redemption granted to us through God's sacrifice of His Son whom he sent to live among us and establish a new covenant with God.

Merry Christmas Eve to ALL by: Cheri Avery Black
Thanks for your greetings and all the great info you bring to us year 'round about our favorite island! We just served 15 guests (one from Cameroon via Toronto and the others gathered for a family reunion mostly from the eastern US) with a homestyle Jamaican: with curried, fried, and brown stewed chicken, renter and yellow yam, green banana, and dasheen, and yummy callaloo, then sorrel and Christmas fruit cake with grape nuts and rum raisin ice cream. Their tummies are happy and we're easing into relax time, once again relishing the praise for Jan B's cooking. Life is Good!
