Looking for my grandmother Monica Smith - formerly of Madden Street Jones Town, St Andrew

My grandmother Monica Smith gave birth to my mother. She was born in 1948; so she would be 67 this year.

Unfortunately there was some confusion as the name she listed on the birth certificate for my mother was later changed as it was incorrect.

She named my mother "Suzanne Sophia Crook" which was later changed to "Cooke."

The only information we have is that she is from Clarendon and was living at 3 Madden Street Jones Town, St Andrew at the time of my mom's birth.

She was 21 when she gave birth to my mother and according to my mother's birth certificate had 2 other children at the time.

Apparently she later migrated to Ontario Canada and had another child named Nicole. For additional information my grandfather’s name is Leon Cooke (she knew him as Leon Crook).

He was driving for JOS bus at the time they met.
