Contest Entry #008 - Jamaican festival dance competition
One cold morning I got up to prepare to go to Kingston. When I arrived on the school grounds it was approximately 5:00 am, the bus left at about 5:30 am.
I was accompanied by my mother and our teacher. We had fun going up. We arrived at little theatre at approximately 10:00 am. When we arrived, our hearts were pounding so hard. At about 12:30 pm it was our time to perform, but we did very well.
After performing we went outside for refreshments and took pictures. After the break we went back to the theatre and we received a medal and we rejoiced.
To me there wasn't anything bad; everything was "all good". As we Jamaicans would say “no problem mon".
The following day we went to school and the family rejoiced with us because of all the schools in Jamaica we came out with a medal in the category of ring play.
