Jamaica - I long to be home

Hey,

First off...Wellesley, you do a great job!

Readers I tell you, I have such a longing for the day I pack my bags and return to Jamaica for good.

I visit at least 1-3 per year, but it's never enough. I never realized what a Gem we have in Jamaica until I moved to the US. I've been here going 9 years and still can't feel at home.

I wish we Jamaicans could all understand what a treasure we have...even before migrating, because then, we would appreciate Jamaica and each other more.

One Love my peeps...those of us who pray....Please pray that God will open the doors I need to walk through to go back to my first love.

I was born and raised in the states. My first visit to Jamaica was 11 years ago and I have returned at the least twice a year. Every time it is harder and harder to leave. The beauty of the island gives me so much peace, the country mountains and the 7 mile call to me as do the people, the real Jamaica...I love her!
