Help me locate Mr. Carol George Ramsay from Christiana Area in Manchester, Jamaica

Hi I am looking for my father Carol George Ramsay. He was originally from Manchester, Jamaica and came to the UK to study electrical engineering at Teeside University in the late 1970s.
I was born in 1978. My mother used to write to him at Christiana P.O. in Manchester, Jamaica when he returned home for a while.
I know he came from a big family and one of his brothers was a policeman. I have not seen my father since I was a baby and would love to connect with him.
