Edbury, Norman looking for family members

I am researching my Edbury family history and I am trying to find my family descendants in Jamaica. Thomas Edbury went from Linstead in England to Jamaica in the early 1800's.
Are any of his family still there? Was he involved in the founding of the Linstead and Edbury townships in St. Thomas/St. Catherine parishes?
Please, I would love to hear from anyone with any knowledge of the Edbury name.
