Well, here are some of the most popular.

Smith & Cross Traditional Jamaican Rum

The Hampden Estate mill provides the cane juice, molasses, and sugar syrup, which is then distilled at the same distillery.

It has an appealing clear and vibrant golden-yellowish colour with a stimulating aroma of cinnamon, black pepper, and tobacco. Tropical fruits, ester, clove spice, brown sugar, and vanilla all have a harmonious balance of flavours.

Appleton Estate

Appleton Estate is a venerable and well-known brand in Jamaica. Master Distiller Joy Spence has been running the business on the "cane-to-cocktail" philosophy since 1997. This implies that Appleton is in charge of every step of the rum-making process, from blending to maturing to the harvesting and distillation of sugarcane.

From their distinctive spirits aged 8 years, 12 years, 15 years, and 21 years to seasonal limited-edition rum mixes, Appleton Estate is known for its vast variety of collections. Additionally, Appleton Estate is excellent for mixing drinks.

Blackwell Rum

Blackwell Rum, established by Chris Blackwell of Island Records Fame, is one of the top Jamaican rum brands. The Blackwell Rum is made by Wray & Nephew using an old family rum recipe, and it is then blended, distilled, and then bottled.

Their Jamaican Gold Black Rum features molasses, spices, tropical fruits, and a sweet caramel flavour. As a result, Blackwell Rum is the greatest rum from Jamaica and is ideal for the Passion Fruit Hurricane.

Hampden Estate

Pure spring water is used to create the rums at Hampden Estate, and pot stills are used for wild fermentation.

Due to the high esters content, characteristic funky flavours might be anticipated (a compound in their rums produced during fermentation). Notably, the company's flagship spirit, Hampden Estate Pure Single, 84 proof, with hints of tropical fruits, spices, and smoke.

Myers’s Rum

Due to its warm feeling, Myers' Original Dark Rum stands out from other rums as a buttery, black rum. Myers's Rum, a product of the Sazerac Company, is made entirely from Jamaican molasses that has been fermented, distilled, and aged in white oak barrels.

Of the two rums in the line, Myers's Rum is more commonly accessible (with Platinum White rum). You'll undoubtedly adore this dark rum's complex flavour, which features notes of sweet caramel, bittersweet chocolate, and honey. Cocktails like Planter's Punch and the Dark 'N' Stormy go well with it.

Hamilton Rum

Ed Hamilton, a website, rum importer, and author of “Ministry of Rum”, creates Hamilton Rum, a Worthy Park distilled spirit. Three Jamaican rums—Jamaica Pimento Dram, Jamaican Pot Still Gold Rum, and Jamaican Pot Still Black Rum—are offered by The Hamilton Rum.

These rums were created following consultations with bartenders, bar owners, and proprietors of nearby liquor stores across the US.

You'll adore the Black Hamilton Rum, which has a robust scent that is enlivened by double-strength caramel made from black sugar. Cocktail Pimento To give rum drinks and punches a unique flavour, Dram, for instance, is made by blending allspice or Jamaican Pimento, raw sugar, and pot still rum.

Monymusk Plantation Rum

Monymusk rums are produced at the enormous, cutting-edge Clarendon distillery, which is partially owned by Captain Morgan's parent corporation.

Monymusk is a joint venture between two private businesses and a division of the Jamaican government, and it is managed by the National Rums of Jamaica.

The three Jamaican rums that Monymusk introduces—Special Reserve, Classic Gold Rum, and Special Gold Rum—have been aged for at least two years in American oak barrels, which is fascinating. With flavours of fruit, orange, and caramel, this Special Gold rum is among the lighter and sweeter Gold rum.

The ten-year ageing process gives Monymusk's Special Reserve rum a peppery, creamy vanilla, and caramel flavour. On the rocks or by yourself, you may undoubtedly take pleasure in its smoothness.

Worthy Park 109

The Worthy Park 109 is one of the top Jamaican rums and comes highly recommended. If you're looking for a high-proof, rich, and full-bodied 100% pot still rum, this is the spirit to turn to.

This dark-aged rum, which is bottled at 54.4% ABV, is matured in wooden oak casks to give your favourite cocktails rich tastes and power.

This Jamaican-made spirit, which is a blend of up to three-year-old rum aged in former bourbon barrels with American white oak, is likely to please all drinkers.

The black rums from Worthy Parks have rich undertones and aromas of banana, orange, pineapple, and tropical fruits on the palate and nose.

Still, trying to figure out what to do with your rum? Here are some ways Jamaican drink rum.
