Once again it was time for our Youth Camp Reunion! In 2012, we decided to we wanted to go on a far journey and so we set out to choose a nice site. Someone recommended Cranbrook Estate and immediately we all agreed.

Here were over 20 young people!

This trip was one of the most amazing trips we have had. It revealed one of the wonders of God. To this day, I am still awed about it.

We boarded our bus from St. Andrew and made the journey to St. Ann. Leaving St. Andrew somewhere after 8 a.m., we arrived at our destination sometime after 11am.

Some of us were a bit apprehensive on arrival and observing the entrance to the facilities, however, we were undaunted and decided that we were going to have a wonderful day.

We went in, made our arrangements with the proprietors and proceeded to our day’s activities which also included a tour, games, swimming and a cookout.

We saw some really beautiful and unusual flowers but my most outstanding experience was when we got to the end of the trail where the river comes out of the hillside, God, it was awesome!!

There were many different cracks out of which the water flowed. It was extremely heavy, as you can see.

At the foot of the hill, there is a pool where we could swim. Some of us jumped/dived into the water, while some stood in awe at the beauty.

My most awesome experience was watching the large volume of water flowing out of very small cracks in the hillside. It was simply an amazingly awesome experience.

There was nothing that could spoil my day after that experience. Ever since, every chance I get, I introduce it to someone.

I just can’t stop talking about it. At the end of the day, we had a blast.

Jamaica is certainly a beautiful country. I am planning another trip there soon.
