QUESTION:
I would like to get historic information for Coleyville Jamaica. I believe my husband's grandfather was born there. I have not been able to find that much online. Is there a local library that I could contact?
ANSWER: by Devin, July 27, 2013
Hi Courtney,
Coleyville is a settlement in the parish of Manchester in Jamaica.
And yes, each parish is equipped with a parish library where information may be garnered on the parish as well as other important information.
The Manchester Parish Library may be contacted via email at manparlib@cwjamaica.com, telephone at 876-962-2972 or 876-962-2012, facsimile at 876-962-9680 or a written letter may be addressed to:
The Senior Librarian
Manchester Parish Library
34 Hargreaves Avenue
Mandeville P.O.
I trust that you will find relevant information via the library that you seek.
