QUESTION: what type of clothes Jamaicans wear?
ANSWER: by Wellesley March 11, 2012
Hi Jaida,
Every time I get this question I get a smile on my face :-) Always is thinking "what such question" - funny :-)
Never mind, I understand.
Jamaican wear would be similar to yours my friend; I noticed you are from Dominica, another Caribbean island, so yes, it's just like yours.
Typically, loose comfortable clothing, right in line with the climate and those of this hemisphere.
I answered this question sometime ago, so I am going to direct you to it for additional detail.
Much of what I said then is still very relevant now, I'd probably only add that the 'Americanization' of the culture comes with its own features and so more and more you'll find clothing and dress mirroring much of what you'll see on cable TV and in the tropical (sunshine) states in America.

I hope it helps.
