QUESTION about: Buying property process In Jamaica
I plan to move to Jamaica about 10 years. How long does the buying a property process take? And what requirements would I need to buy a property in Jamaica?
Thank you
Nikki

Hi Nikki, you need money and a TRN (Tax payer registration number).
How long the process takes depends on you finding what you want and coming to agreement with the owner on price and time.
If you have to apply for financing then the process is longer. Assuming that the seller has clear and available title and you paid off the purchase price, then the process will average about 8 weeks or less.
I hope this helps.
