When Was Ashley Furniture First Opened?
The Ashley Furniture HomeStore was first opened in 1997 and currently has over 2000 locations worldwide. The HomeStore falls under its parent company Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc, which started in 1945. Both companies are owned and run by the father and son duo, Ronal and Todd Wanek.
Ashley HomeStore now has many locations all over the world, including the United States, Canada, Central and South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
The company also does its own manufacturing and carries mainly its own brands in store, along with a few third-party suppliers.
Is Ashley Furniture The Same As Ashley HomeStore?
Yes they are the same. The company changed their name in 2016 From Ashley Furniture to Ashley Furniture HomeStore to signify that they don't just do furniture. The also sell everything to design the home, from furniture to rugs.
Who Owns Ashley Furniture Jamaica?
In August 2016, the United States-based company opened its first location in the island’s capital, Kingston Jamaica, under the management of Unicomer Jamaica, the operating company for Courts Jamaica.
Courts is popular furniture and appliance store in Jamaica with many locations across the island and have been selling Ashley Furniture through its company for years. So it made sense that operations for both Ashley Furniture Jamaica and Courts were overseen by the same company.
Shortly after in November 2017, a second location was opened in the island’s second city, Montego Bay.
So you may ask, what is so special about Ashley Furniture Jamaica and what do they have to offer?
What Does Ashley Furniture Jamaica Offer?
In the stores, which are called the Ashley HomeStore, you will find a wide range of furniture and accessories for your entire home. Whether you are searching for living room, bedroom, home office, kitchen or dining room pieces you will definitely find something that will suit your needs. You will even be able to find comfortable seating for your home theatre if you are one of the lucky people who have one.
