Montego Bay, being the tourist destination that it is, one would unquestionably believe that there are ziplining opportunities in the city.
Unfortunately, that is not true. Don’t let that deter you though as there are nearby areas where you can go ziplining and quite a few organised tour packages that will pick you up from your resort, take you to various locations then return you to the resort.
There are also excursion companies that you can contact directly to make arrangements. Island Routes and Chukka Adventure Tours are two of the most popular.
Here are some tours that include Ziplining adventures that you may like:
1. CHUKKA - ATV, Horseback, Zipline & Catamaran at Ocean Outpost Park, Montego Bay
With this tour, you may go ziplining, tubing, and ATV riding through the backcountry of Jamaica. You will have the opportunity to experience the untamed terrain and beautiful woods of the "true" Jamaica on this half-day adventure, including hotel pickup and drop-off in Montego Bay. this tour was put together by Chukka Caribbean Adventures Limited and it includes:
- Beverages and lunch
- ATVing across a historic estate on hazardous trails
- On a zipline, soar through the jungle's canopy
- River tubing on the Great River
- Customary Jamaican meal
- Montego Bay hotel pickup and drop-off
2. El Sol Vida - Dunn's River Falls Climb plus Ziplines, ATV, Horse Ride & Swim from Montego Bay
Along with visiting Dunn's River Falls and having the opportunity to stop for lunch, this tour also includes riding a horse into the Caribbean Sea, ziplining, and a backroad excursion on a quad bike.
Travel in a vehicle with air conditioning for comfort. Every entry charge and activity price is included. There will be a qualified driver/guide leading the journey. Shared transportation to and from your hotel is provided.
3. CHUKKA - Zipline & River Tubing Combo Guided Excursion, Montego Bay
On this guided adventure departing from Negril, you may zipline and kayak over the Great River of Jamaica. Cross the raging river on three different ziplines with your knowledgeable adventure guide while gliding through some mild rapids.
From your guide, get knowledge about the island's past and present as you travel. Lunch, round-trip transportation from hotels in Negril and Montego Bay, and all kayak and zipline equipment are included.
Kayaking on the Great River Navigates a mix of mild and powerful river rapids with your canoe. Buy photographs that capture your adventure in action.
4. Zip Line over the Dunn's River Falls
With time left over to explore the tiered waterfalls, you'll have round-trip transportation from your accommodation and a guided zipline excursion above the picturesque park. Additionally, you'll receive a special access permit that will let you skip the wait and go right to the events.

5. Zip-lining/Horseback Rides & ATV Inclusive Act with Transport From Montego Bay

This tour offers an all-inclusive package of exhilarating activities, including zip line into the Caribbean Sea and riding an ATV across steep terrain and desert paths. As you ride through the Caribbean Sea on your horse, take in its stunning blue colour.
6. Zipline and River Tubing
Where the lovely Great River is surrounded by adventures. Get a bird's eye view as you travel through a number of traverses, including the 1100-foot Inter-Parish express above the river below, through a tunnel of trees in the forest.
Then it will be time to unwind in a river tube and enjoy the flow of the Great River bringing you down after a quick pause at the hidden waterfalls. Take in the stunning scenery of the jungle's plant life before returning to your resort.
