I started my locks after I was told by my doctor after a MRI scan that no more 'cream crack' or it would kill me.
I used to process my hair for many years but it burnt very badly after every session until I start to get this terrible headache.
I went to see my general practitioner and I was referred to this specialist who make this declaration that I stop 'creamcracking' that when I used to wear my hair very low.
After a few years I start 'locking' and so, far so good.
Editor's Note:
Thanks for your excellent, and timely feedback Litel! It's great to hear from someone who decided to dread for other reasons, I mean other than spirituality or fad! Just purely health. And that makes sense too!
I've re-read your story three times, and although I don't know you, I am glad your general practitioner recommended you to the specialist in time so he could address your situation promptly my friend.

I am sure your feedback will be helpful to someone else - perhaps to someone in the early stages of such or similar situation.
It has already been very insightful to the rest of us though.
Thanks again and all the best to you Litel.
