Kingston, Jamaica is the island's business hub and cultural mecca. If you want to learn about the history of Jamaica this is the place to be, or you want to embrace the island's vibrant culture and be a part of the ever-popping dancehall scene and learn a few moves.
New! Take a piece of Jamaica with you💃!

And, if you ever need a trustworthy and knowledgeable local guide, consider booking a private tour with us!
While Kingston is not a tourist hub, doesn't have any fancy all-inclusive resorts, the best sandy beaches or the typical thrilling adventures that many tourists visit the island for, if you want to really embrace the Jamaican culture this is a great city to start.
Don’t fear though, while you won’t find a luxury resort you can find exquisite modern hotels such as the AC hotel, or you can choose a more humble, comfortable hotel that will provide you with just enough to make your stay comfortable without breaking the bank; such as this hotel that I am about to introduce you to, The Spanish Dream Hotel.
The Kingston-based Spanish Dream Hotel has a fitness facility and an outdoor pool. Each room has a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The building features a terrace, a front desk open around-the-clock, and free Wi-Fi. There is a wardrobe in each room.
The Spanish Dream Hotel has some rooms with balconies and all rooms with air conditioning. They also have a refrigerator.
Rooms are comfortably decorated, without any load colours or extensive décor pieces. You will find that the entire hotel has a more dated and old-school charm and feel to it.
They have several room options:
Deluxe King Suite
Deluxe Júnior Suite
Deluxe Queen Suite
There are no restaurants at the Spanish Dream Hotel. However, if you so desire you can order breakfast, which they will prepare for you. Even though there are no restaurants on the property, its location places you near many restaurants. Here are some recommendations:
For Breakfast:
Tea Tree Crêperie- They provide a "French Fusion" Cordon Bleu-style meal with a twist to suit all palates. Since this is the first diner of its kind in Jamaica, likely, you've never had anything like it.
Their incredible variety of sweet and savoury foods is complemented by the restaurant's modest, friendly setting and first-rate customer service. Breakfast is available till 6:00 p.m.
They provide a variety of dishes, such as egg and cheese muffins, steak and eggs, chicken and mozzarella omelettes, and crepes.
