As a young child, I remember going to Grand Market in downtown Kingston. Seeing all the toys and dolls and such things.
I remember one year this man was selling handmade doll house furniture and my mom bought me a bed, dresser, and table and I got china tea cups and plates. I was in heaven.
Went back home and set up my little house on the verandah and played house with my brothers. We had such fun back then.
Editor's Note
Wow, what a delightful trip down memory lane Delores! Your reminiscence of Grand Market in downtown Kingston brought such vivid images to mind.
I can feel the excitement of those moments as I can relate. It's amazing how simple things can create lasting memories.
Thanks for sharing my friend!
