(St Elizabeth, Jamaica)
First trip to Jamaica was in 1980. Spent one week in Mo Bay, three weeks in St Elizabeth (South Coast).
Repeated that scenario (with minor revisions in where the one week was spent; sometimes Mo Bay, sometimes Ochi, sometimes Negril...but always three weeks in St Bess) every year until 1997.
Moved to St Elizabeth in 1997, became a Jamaican citizen in 2000. Have lived in St Bess ever since! Only Jah could make me leave.
I n I give unceasing Thanks and Praise to Jah for His unchanging love and guidance. HIS MAJESTY NOW!
My favorite Jamaican foods are escovitched fish, jerk tofu, steamed callaloo mixed into the pot water from boiled green bananas and mango-otaheite apple smoothies.
My favorite Jamaican places to visit are Taino Cove, MarBlue, and Jack Sprat (all in Treasure Beach); Little Ochi on the border of St Bess & Manchester; YS Falls, Black River Safari, & Bubblin' Springs (outside of Black River) all in St Bess; and last, but not least, Cosmos in Negril.
Since moving to Jamaica, I have earned money as a HEART/TRUST instructor, a network administrator, a corporate trainer, a life change coach, a tour guide, a software developer, a website analyst and a beadweaver.
I have been married for 29 years, have 3 children and 15 grandchildren. My life is filled with abundant blessings and being able to live here in Jamaica is one of them.
I-gratulations, Idren Wellesley, may Jah annoint and bless the union of you and your Empress! I-tinual love to your two princesses as well.
In Unity and RASpect,
Lady Roots
