Contest Entry #004 - Errol Flynn Marina Beach, Jamaica
This photo was taken at the Errol Flynn Marina beach in Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica.
The entire marina is a very relaxing place to come and its enterance is right in the heart of Port Antonio.
This particular day, I was taking a break from my grocery shopping in town and discovered that the beach was empty just then and the sun was casting perfect shadows from the trees.
I remember that the sun was hot and I was wishing I had my bath suit for a nice swim, but was also quite greatful for the shade and relaxation. Across from the beach you can see Navy Island, a small uninhabited island once owned by Errrol Flynn.
Local fishermen will tell you that at night from sea, they can see lights and hear music playing on the island, but upon closer inspection there is nothing.
They say this is Errol Flynns ghost enjoying the evening as he did many years ago.
I have taken part in many cleanup efforts on the island to clean up the non-functional buildings and restore the natural beauty of the island of Jamaica!
