Christmas St.Maarten style

Christmas in St.Maarten is so different from Jamaica. We do not have grand market, that big family get together is not so much of a big thing here, this is something is missed.

Nevertheless families friends comes together in their own unique way to make the day special.

I must say I do not celebrate Christ's birthday, because he did not born on the 25th of December, I do enjoy caring and sharing with the less fortunate.

Yeah, I understand that persons enjoy the season for various reasons, and yes, most persons might not argue on the date of Christ's birthday but one thing we know for sure, he was born :-)

I, like you, really enjoy the caring and sharing with the less fortunate during this time.

I am proud that I played a little role this last Christmas bringing smiles to scores of persons here in Jamaica; some of who included the aged and also the less fortunate.
