Not all of these species are permanent residents of Jamaican waters. Some come here to spend the winter in the island’s balmy waters or to go to other nations.
Of the 5 categories of marine mammals, only two can be found in Jamaica; cetaceans and sirenians. Whales, dolphins, and porpoises are some of these.
