Accounting Clerk Position Needed

I am writing to apply for a position in your organization as an accounting clerk or administrative assistant or any available position that suits my qualification.

I have gained work experience at several places. At Knox Community College in the summer of 2008, while on the NYS Summer Employment Programme. At Bermaddy Primary School in St. Catherine. And at the Registrar General’s Department on the NYS Summer Employment Programme in 2012.

My latest experience is working at the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority in the Accounts Department where I was placed in the payables section.

I was also exposed to using the accounting software Great Plains. I am currently pursuing a NVQ-J Accounting Level 2 Certificate. I am a workaholic and will do my tasks as instructed to me.

I have completed one year from Portmore Community College, and I have passed four papers from ACCA’s (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) CAT Technician Course, the other papers not being attempted as yet.

As my Portmore College report suggests, I have also passed all four internal papers and I have received an award as I came on top of my class in that year.

I see myself as a humble person, a hard worker and a person who is willing to learn. I am able to carry out instructions to the ‘T’ and I am a good team player. I can articulate myself well and able to write reports. I believe that all these qualities will make me most suited for your company.

I would like this job as it would be a pleasure working at your company. I would like to gain working experience and I would like to further my education.
