What makes the perfect date? That, of course, is completely subjective but maybe the most common responses would be experiencing something new together, a romantic dinner maybe, something casual where you can focus on each other, whatever your preference maybe be you will find an abundance of options right here in Jamaica.

I can’t list all of your options here, but I can point you to some of the best.
It is regarded as one of the island's most romantic locations. Legend has it that a slave couple who were in love chose to escape together rather than let an envious plantation owner separate them.
The moon captured the lovers in a golden net as they dashed to the cliff's edge, where there was a roughly 1,700-foot plunge. They were gathered in this net as the moon gradually dipped below the surface of the ocean.
Can you imagine standing on the cliff’s edge, hand in hand with your lover, looking out at one of the most heart-pumping views? Plus there is music, food and dancing if you care to indulge.
If you enjoy the classic romantic dinner date, this is a heightened version of that experience. Add a delectable five-course meal created with local, seasonal ingredients to the scene of a table for two decorated with flower petals, candles, and the sound of the sea. This is one of the coolest and most romantic spots on the island to sip a cocktail or eat supper. It is built into volcanic cliffs and is reachable through a coral stairway and footbridge.
According to legend, soaking in this turquoise water has aphrodisiac properties. This serene location has welcomed generations of famous people, and countless movies, like the Brooke Shields classic The Blue Lagoon, have been filmed here.
The combination of fresh spring water and seawater at a depth of around 200 feet results in alternating warm and chilly temperatures and an incredible blue tint that shifts with the position of the sun. Since access is totally free, it provides a date that is both affordable and fun.
What is more romantic than watching the sunset while standing in the embrace of your partner? Absolutely nothing. From the cliffs of the ricks café, you will witness what many consider to be the best sunset view on the island. Top that off with a tasty dinner afterwards.
A thirty-foot-long raft will only be shared by you, your companion, and a skipper as it travels down a three-mile stretch of the Martha Brae River. The town, which lies just outside of Montego Bay in the Trelawny parish, has six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens as well as a bar, a swimming pool, and restrooms.
You can swim after you're on the river, which takes about an hour, or you can just relax and take in the stunning view of the jungle. The bamboo rafts are surprisingly strong; it's a terrific chance to see wildlife and cuddle up to one another.
Now this is not your conventional date, but if one thing you and your partner have in common is the love of rum, then this is the perfect date for you. More than 265 years have passed since the Appleton Estate began producing rum. It is Jamaica's oldest sugar farm and distillery.
You can take in the stunning, lush environment while learning about the rum-making process. On the tour, you'll enjoy welcome cocktails, learn about the current situation of rum, take a guided tour of the estate, watch how rum is made from cane to cup, and participate in a guided rum tasting. About two hours are spent on the tour.
This is a great choice for you if you and your partner enjoy working out or going for long hikes. From the base of the blue mountain, your hike might take you five hours or more depending on how often you stop to take notice of your gorgeous surroundings and maybe snap a few pictures.
Some choose to do an overnighter so they can finish the last portion of their hike at the crack of dawn so they can watch the sunrise.
Of course, there are many other options, but these are definitely some of the best.
