Are Jamaican cocks smart or what?

While walking home after church one Saturday afternoon, I saw this little rooster on the road.

Many others were there with him but something about him captured my interest. While approaching where he was, I thought I would scare him off but surprisingly I didn't.

I guess my camera grabbed his attention. Whenever I hid it behind me, he continued his journey with his friends, but the minute I held the camera up to take a photograph; he stopped, turned his head to face me and posed. He was definitely implying that he would like to be photographed.

This little rooster reminded me so much of most of our Jamaican people. Like many would say, "Dem always frighten fi camera".

This rooster definately made my Saturday afternoon. Though he couldn't talk, he had so much personality. A nuh Jamaican people alone street smart but dem animals to!
