STORE MANAGER
We are seeking to identify a passionate, hungry and results-driven professional to complement our operations in the capacity of Store Manager.
The incumbent will be required to direct and manage the branch’s operational activities, and to develop and implement effective revenue-generating strategies and programs.
About The Role
The Branch Manager will coordinate overall branch
operations, prepare strategic plans and allocate associated resources while effectively managing operational costs, ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures, motivate staff and ensure their welfare and development.
The Branch Manager will aim to
achieve the branch’s goals through increased productivity, the generation of new business, ensuring excellent quality standards in keeping with the company’s brand, uphold our service standards, and the timely delivery of revenue targets and other business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the highest level of customer service and presentation standards.
Oversee and ensure efficient daily branch operations and ensure strict compliance.
Developing and implementing growth strategies.
Evaluate performance and sales on a monthly basis and make recommendations for improvement.
Develop plans to optimize effectiveness and efficiency, and make recommendations. where necessary to enable the achievement of established objectives.
Oversee and ensure cash management procedures are being adhered to.
Generating monthly management reports and executing presentations.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to work with people. Previous retail management experience is preferred but not required.
• Two (2) years of college or two (2) years of progressive supervisory experience. A four-year college degree is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to relocate within the District or Region is preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of the entire SATP Basic and Advanced, and all CBLs.
• Ability to read price tag information, Customer checks, Customer identification, and similar written materials.
• Ability to complete basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) necessary to verify cash register balances and process refunds and returns.
• Ability to lift or move goods weighing up to 50 pounds a distance of several feet.
NOTE: Store Leader must possess the above-mentioned skills and abilities, or be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
