With Ocho Rios being such a popping tourist hub, you will find many jerk centres and other restaurants with jerk chicken, pork and other jerk meats on the menu.

Miss T’s Kitchen

Rustic Jamaican eatery and bar Miss T's Kitchen serves a variety of wholesome, home-style Jamaican food and drinks in a lovely garden setting.

Miss T's Kitchen, which is noted for its inventive meals, rocking rhythms of Jamaican "roots" music, and generally having a good time, is situated in a peaceful cul-de-sac off Main Street in the centre of Ocho Rios.

Your outdoor eating experience will be remarkable because of the restaurant's reputation for low costs, excellent service, a fantastic location with plenty of parking, and a chill, calm atmosphere.

Of course, as with everywhere else in Jamaica, you don’t necessarily need to sit down and dine at a restaurant to enjoy some jerk chicken.

Along the busy streets of Ocho Rios, you are certain to run into quite a few jerk stands and you can watch the entire process of how they jerk the chicken, choose your favourite part of the chicken, watch them chop it up, place it in foil and add all the extra jerk sauce that you can manage.
