Negril's Donkey Races And Fun Day 2013

The eighth annual Negril Rotary Donkey Races will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at WAVZ on Negril beach.

The family fun day features eighteen donkeys, all dressed up for the races in various costumes, and is set in a buzzing fairground atmosphere with high excitement, kid rides, game booths, and free face painting.

A Jamaican bar and many food stalls offering Jamaican and international choices, will be prized to please the crowd.

Fabulous gate prizes will be announced every half hour, including complimentary dinners, tickets to win various island attractions, as well as weekend for two at fabulous resorts around the island.

The grand gate prize of an HP, fully loaded laptop computer has been donated for the lucky winner.

All funds raised go towards youth education and community programs. Last year's proceeds helped fifty local children to attend school regularly, help to provide a community school bus, provided ten young men with lifelong training and accreditation and helped to provide a summer camp for eighty (80) children in Negril.

Gates open at ten (10:00 AM) and races begin at noon.
