It started as a casual call to just 'do something in Negril'. But boy, it turned out to be quite an amazing adventure!
With crystal-clear waters, stunning views, a private island, mouth-watering seafood and the best crew (on board and on island), this tour offered us the ultimate Jamaica escape.

We boarded the tiki boat (they call it) on the world-famous 7 mile beach, just across from Marguaritaville.
And destination?
The booby cay - a private island off the coast that would take us about 25 to 30 minutes!
But you know what they say when you are having fun - time flies!
I feel like we were there is less than 10 minutes, but only because we were busy enjoying the astonishing sights from the boat and soaking up the history lessons of Negril and the private island from our captain!
Of course, we kept refresh all along the way! We were offered just about all the options from the bar, but I went on the lighter side - I settled with rum punch, wasn't as bold as my colleagues :-)
Even then, it was awesome!
So before long we were there! Anchor dropped and we head out on the cay. I was surprised, to some extent, to see the number of 'inhabitants' on the island - quite a few tourists, eating, drinking and even some board games!
I hardly settled before the resident chef, reached out to welcome us and introduced himself. And when he bent over his bucket and pulled up some huge live lobsters to show us lunch, I knew this was gonna be memorable!
And it was! He even gave us a mini course on cooking fresh lobster!
Did I tell you that we met Simba?
Oh yeah, there is a resident cat there! When I saw him coming I told the team we were getting a visitor, but they told me no - we are the visitor!
Before long, it was time for lunch, and it was sumptuous!
Don't believe me, Here are the pics, you be the judge :-)
But seriously though, the entire experience, from the boat, to the island, was unforgettable and I'm already hearing talk what we'll be heading back there soon!
I can't wait! By the way, even better, I have highlights of this exhilarating tour in video on YouTube!
