Then, most times, instead of bonding and relaxing as a family, you spend the days of your trip catering only to the needs of your children. Making sure they are safe in the pool or slide, are fed and are having fun often feels like a job in and of itself, one that doesn’t leave much time for you.

1. Franklyn D. Resort - Runaway Bay, St. Ann

Franklyn D. Resort offers family friendly vacations like no other. While it isn’t the most modern, it offers the best of child care. Imagine a nanny being a part of the package you pay for? That is exactly what a stay at FDR is like.

Nannies are available from 8:30 am to 4:40 pm and are certified in childcare & housekeeping. There is no need to worry yourself, the utmost care is being given to your baby. Some persons have been working here as a nanny for 15 years or more, so they definitely have the experience.

The nanny can also double as you vacation travel assistant and help you with the planning of celebratory family resorts like reunions, birthdays and anniversaries. Use your nanny's services to get you some well needed “me” or “us” time at an hourly cost outside the hours they work for usually. The minimum is 2 hours. If you need the assistance of an additional nanny there is a cost per additional nanny per day.

The nannies will supervise your children at the pool, the water slide, by the beach and whatever other activity they fancy.

One of the more luxurious accommodations, Round Hill is perfect for a family vacation. Children are very much catered to here. Nanny services are available at an additional cost and the after hour nanny services are especially popular with parents who want some time to unwind, knowing their kids are safe.

3. Beaches Ocho Rios And Negril

Both resorts are under the Sandals International Hotels, but whereas Sandals is for adults only, Beaches was created with the family in mind. There are multiple activities for the kids to be a part of no matter their age. With characters of Sesame Street roaming around and the Club Liquid everyone for toddler to teenager will be entertained. Pirates island waterpark is perfect for the entire family. 

If you would like a nanny to help while taking your children to these activities, then all you have to do is ask. The nannies on property cater to every child from 3 months old and onwards. Nannies are available everyday of your stay for up to three times a day between the hours of 8 AM and 9 PM. If you request more time or need their assistance outside of the usual working hours, it comes at an additional hourly cost to you.

Beaches hotel is a member of the International Nanny Association and the staff have also been trained in the care of children living with special needs by One World Foundation. 

Special baby care services are given for children between 3 and 24 months.

Suncscape Splash Montego Bay offers in room babysitting. While you go out and enjoy the resort, your children can get some well needed downtime in the comfort of the room or suite where they can do indoor activities or rest. You can relax and enjoy your vacation knowing your children are in your room and are safe.
