The Jamaica Palace Hotel is a 5-star boutique-style hotel that was originally an 18th-century European palace. It is located on 5 acres of land overlooking Turtle Harbor. If you're searching for a hideaway from the city, a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or simply a place to unwind, Jamaica Palace is an ideal option.

They offer 24-hour security and uniquely designed air-conditioned rooms and suites. In these accommodations, you can look forward to custom mattresses, crystal chandeliers, internet access, a safety deposit box, a European style bathtub and Georgian bay windows at the largest hotel in Port Antonio.

The Jamaica Palace Hotel features three dining options, four seasonal bars, lush green landscaping, and a pool shaped to resemble the map of Jamaica. They are within easy reach of Port Antonio's most beautiful quiet coves, beaches, and attractions.

What are the Check-In and Check-Out times at Jamaica Palace Hotel?

You will check-in at 3:00 pm and check-out at 11:00 am. There is an additional charge of USD 50 per night for each room that you book. It is a security deposit that will be refunded at the end of your stay. There is a receptionist available daily between the hours of 7 am and 11 pm that will be able to assist you with any inquiries.

Accommodations at Jamaica Palace Hotel

As with most hotels, Jamaica Palace gives you a variety of room/suite categories to choose from. Each category has something about it that makes it unique among the others. However, some features are available in each suite or room. Every accommodation at Jamaica Palace Hotel includes:

  • 42-inch flat-screen smart TV
  • Closet
  • Mini-bar (all-inclusive bookings)
  • Blow dryer
  • Iron board and iron
  • Complimentary toiletries

  • The Standard Deluxe Room - these rooms contain all the basic features such as a European style bathtub, marble floors and a comfortable sofa.

  • Junior Suites - these spacious suites have a connecting living room, crystal chandeliers and a writing desk for those who need to get some work done.

  • Suite - these suites have separate living area and bedroom with a king-size bed. Perfect for those travelling for business or pleasure.

  • Royal Suite - these are the most spacious rooms and perfect for those travelling with their families.

Dining and Drinking at Jamaica Palace

While most hotels have restaurants, Jamaica Palace has what they consider to be rooms.

  • The Gallery Dining Room

A massive man-made waterfall cascades over cave stones in this main dining room. There are crystal chandeliers, a complete bar, and seating for up to 100 people in the dining area. There is seating for up to 40 people on the Gallery terrace, which has a great garden view. Meals can be served in several ways. For small events, table service is available, or buffet style for larger gatherings.

  • The Formal Dining Room

This room has a dance floor and is air-conditioned, so if you enjoy formal style dancing, this is where you will want to dine. The intimate location is perfect for the most intimate and elegant gatherings.

The big wall tapestry and the soft and comfy seating, which can accommodate up to 80 people, represent the mood and elegant elegance. The design is enhanced by crystal chandeliers, antique furnishings, and artworks. Enjoy a la carte or buffet-style meals.



  • Breakfast Room

Business meetings, birthday celebrations, family activities, and coffee breaks are all possible here. Wireless microphones, projection screens, and sound systems are all available in this space.
