The brand new ROK Hotel Kingston, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is one such hotel.

Who is the owner of the ROK hotel?

According to a hotel representative, the letters ROK in the hotel's name stand for Revival, Rebirth, and Renaissance of Kingston. Pan Jam Investment owns the 168-room hotel, which Highgate runs.

What is the tapestry brand by Hilton?

Hilton's Tapestry Collection is a collection of 90 distinctive hotels that encourage travellers to form a real connection with their travel destination by providing them with a distinctive flair and bright personality. The collection's first property in the Caribbean is the ROK Hotel Kingston.

When did ROK Hotel open?

After PanJam Investment Limited purchased the property, which was originally the Oceana Hotel, construction on the new hotel started in 2019. On Tuesday, July 19, Prime Minister Mr Holness cut the ribbon to officially open the four-star hotel at the intersection of King Street and Ocean Boulevard.

This hotel, which is situated in the downtown arts district, has views of the Kingston Waterfront and Harbor. The Jamaica Conference Center is two streets away, while the National Gallery of Jamaica is directly across the street. 16 kilometres will bring you to Norman Manley International Airport. The modern hotel features cutting-edge amenities like 168 guest rooms, 47 luxury suites, a lounge area, a restaurant, cafรฉ, and bar, as well as a 24-hour fitness centre and spa.

Additionally, it has a wide pool deck for outdoor parties, six conference rooms with cutting-edge audiovisual equipment, and more than 32,000 square feet of meeting space.

Additionally, the property has 41 residential units on its upper four levels, including 13 one-bedroom, 22 two-bedroom, and six penthouse apartments that will be offered for sale to private investors.
