Hello Wellesley!
My Christmas was special all right; especially dull, boring, unexciting, uneventful, uninteresting and any other 'UN' will definitely apply.
I only have two "work friends", and after work they go home and I go home and that's the end of that.
So on Christmas Day I got up at about 9am and hung around the house until about noon I went to cook dinner.
I prepared brown-stewed goat (skipped the curry this time), potato salad and a green vegetable salad.
There was no drink, that's right, no sorrel!! but I had a slice of fruit cake which one of my sisters had made the week before.
After that I washed dishes then watched tv until late, very late into the night, or should I say morning.
Oh, I think on Christmas Eve I got a text each from three "online friends" and on Christmas Day about two more.
Didn't go shopping for clothes, curtains, bedspread, appliances.......none of that. I had no money :-)
The only thing I bought apart from a few much needed grocery items was a J$350.00 shower curtain. The old one was looking just too shabby to continue on with it :-)
Soooo that was my Christmas!!! Understand now my first paragraph?..........Smile..........Bye, until next time!

Yeah, that's not fun at all Colleen.
