Can SBI help my family business?

QUESTION: Hi Wellesley, I came upon your website just now.

I am presently doing a home work on reptiles (Early Childhood Studies) using Jamaican animals and was searching for Jamaican crocs - and there you were!

I have been stuck reading about the history of Black river and one page led to another. I am very impressed!!!

Then I noticed you mentioned SBI. My family's business is STRUGGLING. The company has been around from the 1970's but with the downturn in the economy over the years we can barely pay our bills.

How can SBI help us?

Thanks for stopping by my site and for your inquiry my friend.

I'm elated to hear that you found the the site informative and interesting.

You didn't mention what your family business is about, but you know what Suzette, it really doesn't matter, at the least- SBI adds to your offering!

In the case your family business (an offline biz) SBI would give you an enviable online presence, potentially bringing in a whole lot more warm leads and eventually customers.

SBIer, Judd Burdon did just that. You can check his personal story here.

That said, there are many many SBIers (we call ourselves) who started an online business without a brick and mortar store! I am one such :-)

For the most part I don't sell anything directly, just provide information :-) Take a look of these other case studies Suzette.

By the way, Did you take a look at some of the prior questions that was asked of me? If not, go ahead and read a few of them now, they will be even more helpful.

In all of my business endeavors for the past 35 years I have entirely relied upon the Lord Jesus Christ to get me through. One very big deliverance occurred when I was a new Christian and all I could seem to be able to do was read the Bible and go to Bible studies. I had a small business then with my ex-wife and she became disgusted with me because she felt that I would not work. She felt that our business needed my sales abilities and I was just throwing the company away.

But the truth was that I just could not work I was so caught up in the word of God. Well, one day she told me that because I had not worked in months, even if I went back to work again immediately, we would be out of business in a week because our debt was beyond repayment ($60,000) and the wolves were right at the door. All I could say to her was that I had to keep on doing God's work so I believed that He would do mine.

The next day, a very large, wealthy insurance company called her and booked up a huge steady job for our company with very fast payment terms! Because of that one account, in one year all of our debt was paid off and we had $100,000 cash in the bank! So you see, I believe that God is always the answer to the problems of our businesses and faith in Him appropriates His help. God bless you.
