Hi Anon, I do not have personal experience or affiliation with any real estate agency or agent in Jamaica. However, I can suggest some tips and resources help you find a reputable agency and agent that can assist you in purchasing or building a house in Jamaica.
- Research online: You can start your search by looking up real estate agencies and agents in Jamaica online. Check out their websites, read reviews from previous clients, and compare their services and fees.
- Ask for referrals: Ask friends, family, or colleagues who have purchased a property in Jamaica for their recommendations. They may be able to refer you to a trustworthy agent or agency that they have worked with before.
- Check for licenses: Make sure that the agent and agency you are considering are licensed to operate in Jamaica. You can verify their license status by checking with the Real Estate Board of Jamaica.
- Test Knowledge Of Local Laws: Look for an agent who is knowledgeable about the local laws, customs, and regulations in Jamaica. They can also provide you with insider knowledge about the different locations and properties that meet your criteria.
- Ask about international laws: When you speak with potential agents or agencies, ask them about their experience working with international clients and their knowledge of international laws.
