However, many people for various reasons prefer Airbnb over the more traditional options. Fortunately, for them, Ocho Rios has quite a few available there, as well as in nearby areas.

1. Tumbleweed Cottage- $210 per night

Hummingbirds, crickets, lizards, and butterflies abound in the lush tropical garden where the beautiful, stylish, wholly rebuilt cut-stone cottage is located. Donkeys, roosters, insects from the tropics and tree frogs are examples of natural sounds. There is one A/C, as well as ceiling fans and screens, to keep the space cool.

The pool is private and just for your use, but it is accessible from the main property by a little wooden gate and fence. It is situated precisely halfway between your cottage and the main house, in the middle of a lush garden. On top of the main pool with a waterfall is a smaller "massage pool”.
