Adult Only Hotels in Negril, Jamaica

Hi D&S,

I am so glad you’ve chosen Jamaica as your vacation destination! Right now, you are considering Couples resorts which is an excellent choice! I’ll be more than happy to recommend what I think the best option for you would be. Both hotels you chose are in Negril which I think, means that is the specific part of Jamaica you’d like to visit and I can’t say I’m surprised. Negril is absolutely beautiful. I’ll be sure to recommend other hotels in the Negril area for you but for now, let’s start with your current choices.

• Couples Resorts
  
  Just as the name suggests, the resort is an adult-only property that is tailor-made for couples. They specialize in an all-inclusive romantic experience. The offerings at both resorts are the same for the most part, 24-hour gourmet dining, unlimited premium brand spirits, customized in-room mini-bar, watersports and excursions in and around Negril.
  
  Something I know you will appreciate is the nightly entertainment guaranteed at Couples Resorts, from music and live bands to bonfires at all resorts except their Tower Isle Resort; it really will be hard to get bored here. Watersports include catamaran boat rides, scuba diving, snorkelling, a beach and pools around the property. If you are into golf you can enjoy a good game of golf on the property as well. There is a sports and fitness centre to keep you fit even on vacation.
  
  In my estimation, the only difference between the two resorts would be the number of restaurants, pools, etc. Couples Negril, being a more intimate resort, has fewer rooms and therefore fewer amenities. There are 234 rooms & suites, 5 restaurants, 5 bars, 2 swimming pools, 4 jacuzzis, au naturel beach & jacuzzi, sports & fitness facilities and an oasis spa.
  
  You specifically asked for clothing-optional beaches. The au naturel beach and jacuzzi is the nude section of the beach which is cordoned off from the rest of the beach for the comfort of both those who would like to go nude and those who would rather not.
  
  Couples Swept Away is a larger resort with 312 suites, 6 restaurants, 8 bars, 3 swimming pools, 5 jacuzzis, 10-acre sports & fitness complex.
  
  
• Grand Lido
  
  Grand Lido, formerly Breezes Negril Grand Resort and Spa, is also a naturalist's paradise resort that offers an au naturel vacation experience. If you have a more liberated stance on clothes, then you have the freedom of deciding whether you wear them or not. Because of this rules on recording while in public spaces are very strict.
  
  It is a very intimate boutique hotel with 26 ocean-facing suites, butler service, a restaurant called the Reggae Bar & Grill and a dual storey infinity pool. For those in one of the 6 penthouse suites, there is a shared swim out pool.
  
  The Grand Lido experience begins as you land at the Sangster’s International Airport in Montego Bay. Vacationers who will be staying at the resort get access to the Club Mobay Service which means personalized meet and greet as well as access to the executive lounge. Penthouse Suite guests also get free airport transfers to and from the resort courtesy of Grand Lido.
  
  The one drawback of the Grand Lido is that it does not have an actual beach. Which means they only offer non-motorized water sports. However, staying at the resorts means you have all-inclusive access to the nearby Royalton Negril and Hideaway at Royalton Negril resorts. Royalton Negril is also an adult-only resort however clothes is a requirement. Hideaway at Royalton Negril is designed for family vacations. On both properties, you can take advantage of the pools, restaurants, water sports and nighttime activities at no additional cost to you.
  
  
• Hedonism II
  
  Hedonism II is a more party centred all-inclusive resort. It is a lifestyle-friendly, clothing-optional resort that invites guests to make their vacation their own. The resort has 280 luxury bedrooms all including a private balcony overlooking the 7mile beach or the lush forests.
  
  You can decide whether to have your room on the “Nude” or “Clothing-Optional" sections of the hotel. Guests on either side are welcome to explore and enjoy the entire property. You have 4 award-winning restaurants and 2 grills to choose from, no reservation is needed. And I almost forgot to mention that the eateries are open 20 hours a day. There are also 5 bars on the property to choose from.
  
  I did mention before that Hedonism takes entertainment seriously. From watersports and games and beach activities throughout the day to live music, shows a club and themed parties every night. In addition to the white sand beach, there are 6 pools and hot tubs, a fully-equipped fitness centre and a sauna.
  

Now, let’s talk beaches off the property. There are no privately owned beaches in the area. This means the beaches are not clothing-optional unless they are on the property of a resort that offers that option. One of these hotels will be great for what you are searching for though. You can visit their respective websites to see more of the amenities and offerings.

In my opinion, I think Couples Swept Away and Hedonism II are the best options based on the requirements you have. They both have more amenities and are generally more relaxed on the clothing rules. Both properties have nude and clothing-optional beaches.
But ultimately the decision is yours, I really hope this helps.
